The Church
About Dunamis Church...
Dunamis Church desires to be a fellowship of believers who are finished with empty religion and “church as usual” and are hungry for more of God. We make it our aim to hear what God is saying and then DO IT. We are not interested in putting on a performance or doing the “Sunday duty” (or in our current case the “Friday duty.”) Note: We do not believe that there is anything wrong with going to church on Sunday J
Here at Dunamis Church, we love what God did through the apostles in the book of Acts and throughout church history where and when the presence and love of God moved with such tremendous power. We are hungry for that same manifestation of God’s mighty power NOW. We believe that when we meet together, Jesus is actually in our midst and that if Jesus is with us, we should have a great deal of evidence.
The crux of it is that we first desire to love our God with all we are, and then love people as we love ourselves. This translates into preaching and sharing the amazing news that the kingdom of God is not some make believe fable… Jesus is REAL… GOD is REAL, and His kingdom among us is revealed by the Holy Spirit. Truly, as people worship and love God with passion, they experience His presence and love in such a real way, and are changed on the inside. We so want to see people transformed in their minds and hearts… healed in their bodies… and changed on the inside.
We know our Daddy God loves people so much that He gave His Son Jesus, and the price that Jesus paid on the cross purchased our redemption, and our place in God’s heart and home (the kingdom of God), forever! We’re on our way…
