Dunamis Church’s 2011 Faith Goals
Keeping it simple but God sized with the below 2 faith goals -
1 - Numerical People Goal – 500 people at a service
Yes, it is true! We are believing that God has and is empowering Dunamis Church to reach 500 people this year in one meeting (that will go without saying many more will be reached and impacted in the process) – all giving glory and honour to him for his goodness, grace, and love! We will do all we are called to by the grace of God to reach the people he has called us to reach with the glorious good news of Jesus! We have decided to believe so audaciously for a specific number of people for 2 reasons –
1) We feel the Lord is asking us to stretch out our ‘tent pegs’ this year and believe for massive harvest, according to Isaiah 52:2-3.
2) Each person is so precious to the Lord, and he desires that none would perish but all would come to repentance.
2 - Financial Goal - $150,000 in the general fund + $100,000 in our building fund
We boldly make the reality based connection between success in reaching people with the gospel of Jesus Christ and the need for finances to do so. God has always provided for his work at Dunamis Church. But we are clearly aware that to grow into the fullness the Lord has for us THIS YEAR we need continued growth and breakthrough in our church finances and we trust the Lord to provide and to use people in the process. We expect to be well on our way to having our own facilities by the end of this year as the Lord leads us. This year the Lord has already provided us to viably grow into a movement of 500+ people – now we need the money to finance what God is doing in our midst week in, week out!
We have many other smaller goals which all add up the major goal – reaching people for Jesus Christ.
